Could you guys hunt down rumors of possible replacements for affordable MR (Mid-engine-engine behind the driver) platforms for normal mortals..

It's been decades since the Fiat X1/9, Pontiac Fiero, Toyota MR-2.

I've been waiting for years for someone to finally come out with a replacement of a mid-engined car that's affordable for the masses. A under $35,000 sticker would be awesome.

Please find some and report on them.

Im happy a new automaker (Iconic) is entering the scene...and I like the Cobra-esqe nature...but whats the deal with niche builders and the 200 mph, under 4-sec club? We hear of so many of them now. Cant they try and build something just slightly more reasonable...for the masses?

Next gen Z is huge news for Nissan lovers...but why no new styling? I dont get it. Kindof a letdown I think.

Corvette/Lambo idea is just plain bad....Corvettes have a history laced with smallblock V8's, anything different is just a dumb idea. Cool one time idea, but I hope its the last one I ever see.

Nissan 370Z, yeah I saw that story somewhere else about 2 months ago. Good thing Nissan didn't change the body much. I like the way it looks. And with that quad exhaust? Sweet.

I seriously doubt that Iconic GTR will hit the 200mph. Too much drag from the wind. I'd rather buy a Cobra kit with a 428. It's actually cheaper than the Iconic, and people know exactly what you're driving.

I hope VW doesn't do the pickup idea. Hmm, what would be next...a luxury model from Audi and/or Porsche using the same frame?

Nissan's 330HP VQ37 doesnt run like a real 330HP. The G37 is slow as balls. Not impressed.
The VW concept Pick-up looks like a Toyota Hilux. Which I think it is.

The lambovette is almost as bad as that Z car in florida with the blower out the hood I think I saw on vod cars or some site. Seems like Alex from Polizei panned something along these lines at some car show too, and not the Toyota.

Teh Corvambo looks something like an old nissan.. but looks better than
the GTR, which looks like a pontiac solstice, crossed with a 67 shelby cobra =[
